Trend Reversal Intensive
A two-day group workshop on reading exhaustion, failed thrusts, and confirmation before you call a turn.
Who it is for
Active or aspiring traders who already open charts daily but still struggle to tell a healthy pullback from the start of a genuine trend reversal. You should be comfortable with candlestick charts and basic support and resistance. We do not cover broker setup, order types for beginners, or fundamental company research.
What you walk away with
A repeatable sequence for marking swing structure, spotting momentum and volume divergence at exhaustion, and waiting for a failed thrust or break of structure before acting. You practice on historical sequences from liquid Australian equities, major FX pairs, and index futures — then apply the same checklist to charts you bring.

How the days run
Day one builds market structure: swing highs and lows, trend channels, and the places where buyers or sellers typically thin out. Day two focuses on reversal identification — double tops and bottoms in context, head-and-shoulders that actually break, divergence that matters, and volume that confirms rather than decorates.
Sessions hold a maximum of eight participants so every chart on the wall gets discussion time.
Provider and place
Sessions are led by the Smartapitools teaching practice in Whitfield, Queensland. In-person seats use the studio at 88 Chapel Close; live online seats join the same classroom via video with shared chart views.
Preparation
Bring three charts from markets you actually trade, marked with your recent entries and exits. We use those in afternoon review. A laptop with your usual charting software is welcome for online seats; paper printouts work well in the studio.
Pricing and next step
The intensive is priced at A$890 per person. A deposit secures your seat; the balance is due seven days before the first session day. To register interest, send an enquiry with your preferred month and whether you want the studio or the video classroom.
